Fire risk assessments, with EPCs alongside them

Most of our work is fire risk assessments for business premises. We also carry out commercial EPCs and domestic EPCs.

A commercial EPC is needed when a business premises is sold, let or built. EPCs are produced using standard methods so that buildings of the same type can be compared, and tenants and buyers use them to compare properties.

A commercial EPC comes with a recommendation report setting out how the energy performance of the building could be improved, and it grades the building from A to G, where A is the best.

Commercial premises under 1,000 square metres must have an EPC of E or above to be let, and in June 2026 the government dropped its proposed 2027 move to C for these buildings.
